  • Join Jonathan for a gourmet workshop where you'll learn how to make a traditional challah, a soft, golden brioche bread. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, you'll discover the secrets of a successful dough, from kneading to braiding, including fermentation and baking.

Throughout the workshop Jonathan will guide you step by step, sharing his tips and explaining the history and symbolism of challah. You'll form your own loaf, which you can personalise with seeds or other toppings.

Once baked, it's time to taste! To extend this moment of sharing, you'll enjoy a Mediterranean dinner with a selection of homemade mezze. It's a great opportunity to chat, savour and leave with your challah, new skills and gourmet memories.

Whether you're a beginner or an amateur baker, this workshop is an accessible and rewarding experience, ideal for discovering the joys of homemade bread !

    Meet Jonathan

    Boulanger

At The Baking Club, Jonathan invites you to discover the art of homemade bread and pastries in a friendly atmosphere that's accessible to everyone. Born into a family of bakers, he grew up surrounded by flour and sourdough, but it was when he moved to Belgium that he really developed his passion. Looking for a connection to his roots, he found that baking was a way to share and connect with others.

After training at the San Francisco Baking Institute, Jonathan decided to launch The Baking Club in 2024, a space dedicated to learning and passing on traditional know-how. His approach is simple: to make baking accessible to everyone, without professional equipment or complicated techniques.

His workshops, such as those on babka or challah, combine technique and culture. You learn to master each stage, from kneading to baking, while exploring the history of the recipes. Each participant leaves with their own creations, a recipe card and, most importantly, the desire to continue kneading and shaping at home !
