The workshop in detail
Immerse yourself in the culinary universe of Marthe-Esther and let yourself be transported by the vibrant flavours of Africa!
You will learn to cook an emblematic African dish with fresh and authentic ingredients. You will discover traditional cooking techniques to ensure the success of your dish.
Depending on the season, you can prepare dishes such as chicken in moambe sauce, accompanied by lentil/tofu balls, or yassa chicken or fish, a Senegalese dish marinated in a sauce made of onions, lemon, and mustard.
Vegans can indulge in jollof rice/Thieboudienne, a national dish of Senegal made with rice, fish, and vegetables, or Mafé (meat or vegetable stew with a peanut butter sauce) served with rice.
The workshop will begin with an introduction to African cuisine and a presentation of the ingredients used. Then, you will discover the chosen recipe according to the season, and you will start preparing the ingredients. Once they are peeled, cut, and sliced... it will be time to cook the dish!
Finally, you will have the chance to taste your dish and exchange on the flavours and cooking techniques with the chef in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
Don't miss the opportunity to uncover the secrets of African cuisine and prepare one of its emblematic dishes during this workshop!
