    Marthe-Esther invites you to discover the richness of African cuisine by exploring different starchy foods that will delight your taste buds.

    Whether you're a vegan or simply curious to try new flavours, you'll have the opportunity to taste a variety of delicious starches, such as sweet potatoes, plantains, cassava, African couscous, and much more!

    The cooking expert will introduce you to each ingredient and show you different ways to prepare them for tasty dishes.

    After the tasting session, you can unleash your culinary creativity by combining these starches with other ingredients to create complete and balanced dishes.

    At the end of the workshop, you'll have the chance to taste the dishes created and discuss the flavours and culinary techniques.

    You'll leave feeling inspired and satisfied, with a desire to continue exploring the culinary wonders of the African continent.

    Meet Marthe

    Chef

    Marthe-Esther began her career in psychology, but her love for African cuisine took her down a completely different path: the world of gastronomy!

    Growing up, Marthe-Esther was captivated by the enticing aromas of her mother's African cooking, which inspired her to launch Kulabox in 2021 (Kula means "to eat" in Swahili). Her mission is to honour the richness of African gastronomy by empowering people to recreate her mother's recipes at home.

    But that's not all! As a passionate cook, Marthe-Esther also creates and sells iconic sauces to complement traditional dishes or reinvent African cuisine.

    In addition to her culinary creations, Marthe-Esther organises workshops to share her passion and introduce people to the delights of African cuisine.

    With her cheerful, passionate, and educational approach, Marthe-Esther is determined to demystify this lesser-known cuisine and create moments of sharing and conviviality around new taste experiences.

    L'atelier était super intéressant j'ai appris énormément sur les féculents du continent. Surtout le coté pédagogique d'Esther c'est trés captivant et interactif à la fois. La rencontre avec les autres participants etait enrichissante, Esther a permis que l'on se sente très rapidement a l'aise. Sans oublier la table accueillante et savourante qui nous a accompagnés tout au long de l'exposé. Un véritable voyage exotique dans palais. Je recommande vivement à toutes les personnes qui souhaitent en savoir plus sur les bienfaits thérapeutiques des aliments africains. Je reviens pour sur avec mes neveux, moments de qualité assurés!
