De workshop in detail
Initiate yourself to woodcarving with Michel, a passionate woodworker.
The discovery of the area, some theoretical bases on woodworking and the tools used will start the session, you will go from the raw material to the finished product
You will learn how to handle saws, gouges, rasps and glass paper to make a pair of serving pieces. You will start by cutting them with a scroll saw, manual or electric, after a short test on scraps...
You will discover the importance of the grain of the wood, the direction of the stroke when cutting and understand the importance of all your gestures in working with wood, guided in the use of a few tools so that your cutlery takes shape in your hands, chip by chip.
You will leave this workshop with new knowledge, but also with beautiful objects that you will be proud to use every day.

Nous avons réservé l’atelier “Sculptez votre cuillère en bois avec Michel” pour notre groupe de 4 personnes et nous en sommes ravis ! Michel a vraiment pris le temps de tout nous expliquer, aussi bien la partie théorique que des éléments sur l’histoire du quartier, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus enrichissante. On sent tout de suite qu’il est passionné par ce qu’il fait. L’ambiance était très agréable, conviviale et détendue. Nous sommes repartis très contents, aussi bien du moment partagé que du résultat final. Une expérience que nous recommandons à 100 % !

"En fait, je ne m'attendais à rien... c'était plutôt un **cadeau d'**anniversaire « bizarre ». Mais dès la première minute, c'était génial ! Bref, J'AI ADORÉ ! Michel a transmis sa passion pour le bois et le travail artisanal d'une façon magique. Après le cours, je vais chercher des ateliers de menuiserie dans le quartier car je veux continuer à travailler et comprendre le bois... Recommandé à 100 % !"

J'ai trouvé cet atelier particulièrement intéressant. Michel est un vrai passionné et partage avec plaisir ses connaissances. Son atelier est super. Je n'ai pas vu le temps passer et je suis fière de ma première création en bois. :)

Michel est un excellent pédagogue. À l’écoute des participants, toujours disponible et prêt à donner des conseils personnalisés quand c’est nécessaire. Chacun est reparti avec une très belle cuillère, après avoir passé un agréable moment. C’est presque magique de voir une simple planche de bois se transformer, petit à petit, en cuillère sous nos mains. Une expérience agréable, inspirante et profondément humaine. Merci Michel!
