Discover the modern possibilities of an ancient craftsmanship!

Upon your arrival at the workshop, you will be warmly greeted by Carine. She will start by introducing you to the space while sharing her own journey. You will also learn the basics of wood marquetry, including the essential tools and materials.

As this session is dedicated to creating a frame, you will then have the opportunity to choose the design and wood species that resonate with you from Carine's selection.

The artisan will then guide you through the meticulous process of cutting and assembling the wood veneer, piece by piece, bringing your design to life. Along the way, she will provide you with valuable tips and insights into working with wood. All that's left is to put everything together and position the pieces on the frame!

In the end, you will leave with a stunning frame showcasing your unique marquetry, which will not only enhance your interior but also bring a vintage touch to it!

J'ai eu le plaisir de participer à un atelier de marqueterie de bois, et ce fut une expérience très enrichissante ! L'artisanat en lui-même est fascinant : travailler avec des placages de bois délicats pour créer des motifs et des images m'a semblé à la fois méditatif et profondément créatif. Carine était compétente, passionnée par cet art, et nous a guidés pas à pas avec patience et encouragement. Ce que j'ai le plus apprécié, c'est la liberté d'exprimer mon propre style. Même en tant que débutante, je me suis sentie soutenue et je suis repartie avec une œuvre dont je suis vraiment fière. L'atmosphère était calme, accueillante et pleine d'inspiration. J'avais l'impression d'entrer dans un espace où le temps ralentissait et où la créativité coulait naturellement. Merci!

Carine est une vraie passionnée qui aime transmettre son savoir-faire, avec patience et humour en plus ! L'atelier était très chouette, je recommande les yeux fermés.

Très chouette expérience. Les explications de Carine sur l'histoire de la marqueterie et les différentes techniques sont très intéressantes. Très bien aussi les conseils et l'aide à la réalisation, le tout plein de gentillesse et d'attention de la part de Carine. Merci beaucoup 🙂

Très belle expérience vécue avec ma moitié. Pour lui une illustration et pour moi un joli renard. Carine a une patience d'ange et est passionnée par son métier, son savoir-faire est superbe et son envie de partager est merveilleuse. Super expérience avec Carine. Après un petit topo sur les différentes techniques nous sommes attaquées à notre réalisation. Nous avons passé une super après-midi avec une belle réalisation à la clef !
