De workshop in detail
Plongez dans l'univers convivial d'Anna pour une initiation à la céramique ! Cette artisane passionnée vous accueillera chaleureusement dans son atelier.
La session commencera par une introduction à la céramique et à ses différentes techniques de modelage. Avec l'accompagnement d'Anna, vous façonnerez ensuite une plaque ronde pour le fond de votre corbeille, avant d'en créer la hauteur avec la technique du colombin. Le grès utilisé pour cet atelier possède une particularité : il contient en effet des paillettes de roche pyrite qui explosent et se vitrifient lors de la cuisson à 1250°, ce qui donnera à votre création un aspect unique.
Une fois votre pièce modelée, vous la confierez à Anna, qui se chargera du séchage, de l’émaillage et des cuissons.
Vous pourrez revenir chercher votre œuvre quelques semaines plus tard, toute prête à embellir votre intérieur !
NB : l'artisane s'adaptera à la langue de chaque participant, assurant une expérience enrichissante et créative pour chacun.

Ontmoet Anna
Keramist & pottendraaier
Anna is originally from the West of France and studied art at Estienne, Paris, where she specialised in typography. She then chose to perfect her motion design skills at the Gobelins, l'école de l'image.
She then moved to Brussels where she lived for 8 years, working in graphic design, brand concepts, visual identity and logotype creation, as a freelance designer.
After a few years, she decided to fly to North America for a road trip across the country ending at Vancouver. But it was in Toronto that she began working as a graphic designer for a year. There, she discovered ceramics, and it turned from a hobby into a real passion!
She then took several courses in Toronto and Montreal with experienced ceramists and then decided to return to Brussels, her adoptive city. Anna took things further and enrolled at the Academy of Arts in Brussels to hone her skills.
She now wants to teach others about what she experienced in Canada, about discovering clay as a material, the experience of calmness and feeling at peace with yourself as you work, the kind of creativity that you can develop, a passion that you can pass on to others.
She can't wait to welcome you to her pleasant, cosy workshop to teach you how to model stoneware and porcelain. Meet her!
