Learn to work with clay while enjoying an aperitif in the company of Clara!
This passionate ceramic artist will be delighted to welcome you for a relaxing and creative workshop at the end of the day. The goal? To create a unique object according to your tastes and desires: a plate or bowl, a vase, a candle holder, or even sunglasses... Anything is possible! Feel free to send your ideas to the artist via email before the workshop date so she can confirm their feasibility. The session will also include a delicious aperitif to share, making you feel like you're on a terrace!
After introductions and once the drinks are served, you will gather around Clara for an explanation of different pottery techniques: slab building, coiling, and pinching. Then it's your turn to play, with Italian disco playing in the background!
Clara will be available to guide you throughout the creative process and answer any questions you may have. You will witness your piece gradually taking shape under your fingertips, while enjoying breaks for snacking and engaging with fellow participants.
Once your creation is complete, you will entrust it to the artist, who will take care of drying, firing, and glazing. You will arrange the details of retrieving your piece directly with her (within about ten days).
You will leave with the joy of having discovered the secrets of pottery while having fun and, most importantly, indulging yourself!

During this workshop, the artist will provide you with a drink and snacks.
To participate in this workshop, please plan to wear comfortable clothing suitable for the practice and cleaning at the end of the session. It is also advisable to have short nails and tied-up hair. If possible, consider bringing your own apron.
Please note that there is a risk of breakage during the firing process. These are inherent uncertainties of the craft, and the artisan cannot be held responsible.

Pottenbakker
Clara was projectmanager voor een Belgisch tijdschrift en deed in haar vrije tijd aan pottenbakken, tot het een echte passie werd en ze besloot haar eigen zaak op te richten!
Ze heeft een project van unieke keramische stukken opgericht, vervaardigd in een atelier vol bloemen en voorwerpen in Saint-Gilles. Twee avonden per week worden de winkel en het atelier samengevoegd om nieuwelingen en nieuwsgierigen op het gebied van pottenbakken te ontvangen, om zo onder het genot van een borrel een inleiding in het pottenbakken of de creaties van speciale stukken te krijgen.
Haar specialiteit is het modelleren van keramiek. Ze staat trouwens bekend om haar kleurrijke creaties! In haar winkel toont ze haar keramiek, maar ook de creaties van andere Brusselse kunstenaars en ambachtslui!
Wat zij vooral wil door haar workshops is haar passie met u delen! Clara ontvangt u in een prachtige ruimte die zij deelt met Elodie, een zeer getalenteerde bloemiste! Ontmoet ze in hun charmante en kleurrijke creatieve wereld!

Un très agréable dimanche après-midi les mains dans la terre pour laisser libre cours à notre créativité dans une ambiance hyper conviviale. Un vase, une carafe et un tasse nous sommes toutes les trois très curieuses de récupérer nos oeuvres dans quelques jours :)

Merci Clara pour ce chouette moment ! J’ai eu un vrai coup de cœur pour cette technique et cet atelier où en apprend le bases tout en douceur. Ça m’a donné envie de m’y mettre sérieusement ✨ Clara est joviale, attentionnée et s’adapte aux projets individuels pour un meilleur résultat. Mon conseil : ayez déjà une idée de projet avant l’atelier pour gagner du temps et mettre les mains dans la pâte plus longtemps 👐🏼

J'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à découvrir les bases du modelage grâce aux conseils de Clara. Elle rend l'atelier très ludique et accessible, et nous laisse expérimenter diverses formes et techniques selon nos envies. Ambiance conviviale et détendue. A tester de toute urgence !

Dimanche après-midi douceur ... Un moment un peu hors du temps, à travailler la terre. Clara laisse libre cours aux envi·es de chacun·e, à l'écoute des demandes et extrêmement pédagogue ... Une super expérience

C'est ma deuxième expérience avec Clara! J'étais plus à l'aise après le cours d'initiation :) Clara nous a guidé pour nos créations personnelles, nous a donné des conseils, proposé des alternatives auxquelles nous n'avions pas pensé sans nous imposer quoi que ce soit ! Un vrai plaisir de découvrir de nouvelles techniques en créant.

Super expérience avec Clara! C’est la 2e fois que je viens et j’ai pu réaliser la sculpture que je souhaitais avec ses conseils avisés. De plus, l’atelier était super convivial avec le petit apéro qu’elle nous a préparé. Elle est cool, pro et patiente! Je recommande à 100% :) à tout bientôt !
