Add personality to your gatherings by creating a unique ceramic snack set!
Aurore opens the doors of her cosy studio to offer you an unforgettable experience that will leave a lasting impression.
From the moment you arrive, you'll be immersed in a creative and inspiring world. A warm welcome awaits you from the passionate ceramic artist, who will guide you throughout the workshop. She will introduce you to the tools and basic techniques, while explaining the subtleties of the material and its endless possibilities.
Once you've absorbed the theory, it's time to put it into practice! You'll take hold of the clay, kneading and working it until the air bubbles escape.
Next, you'll explore different modelling techniques, starting with pinching and slab-building. With patience and precision, you'll shape a board, a small dish, and a little bowl.
During the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a friendly and relaxing moment while sipping on a refreshing drink.
After cleaning and tidying up the materials, you'll entrust your creations to the artisan, who will take care of the drying, white glazing, and double firings. You'll arrange the details for retrieving your pieces directly with her.
Finally, you'll eagerly await the moment when you can collect your unique snack set, ready to elevate your gatherings!

Praktische informatie
To participate in this workshop, please plan to wear comfortable clothing suitable for the practice and cleaning at the end of the session. It is also advisable to have short nails and tied-up hair. If possible, consider bringing your own apron.
Please note that there is a risk of breakage during the firing process. These are inherent uncertainties of the craft, and the artisan cannot be held responsible.
During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to share a friendly and relaxing moment while enjoying a refreshing beverage.

Ceramic Artist
Aurore is a joyful and determined artisan, committed to living her passion!
After studying hotel management, administration and tourism, she had a successful international career in the luxury hotel industry. Driven by curiosity and passion, she also studied interior design, which led her to discover clay, ceramics and pottery, a fascinating and wide-ranging craft.
In 2020, she took the leap, leaving everything behind to fully dedicate herself to her passion. She established her own startup and welcomed her first students in June 2021.
Driven by her ecological values, Aurore prioritises sustainability in her craft. She uses predominantly rainwater in her studio, recycles clay, and supports local suppliers for her materials.
Her style is minimalist and zen, drawing inspiration from the rich tradition of pottery in Japan, where it is considered a timeless art form. Her cosy little studio serves as a haven of tranquility, where Aurore warmly welcomes participants and shares the therapeutic benefits of working with clay.
What makes her even more endearing is her love for animals! Her dog, Fluffy, is always by her side, ready to greet participants with gentle cuddles!

C'était pour moi la 1er fois que je faisais un atelier et ça a été une merveilleuse expérience ! Ambiance conviviale, explications professionnelles et bienveillance sont au RDV!!! Ne pas hésiter à participer à cet atelier. Aurore est géniale. La Team Apéro c'est la meilleure !

Très belle découverte que cet atelier Kit apéro. 2h30 pour déjà modeler 3 pièces dans la bonne humeur et en toute convivialité. Je recommande.

Super atelier en compagnie d'Aurore! Toujours très agréable de pouvoir apprendre d'un savoir faire et de pouvoir mettre en pratique celui-ci lors de l'atelier. Nos créations étaient toutes géniale et nous repartons avec l'envie de faire d'autres ateliers autour de ce thème. Merci Aurore (et fluffy) :-)
