The workshop in detail
Meet Yannick, a fermentation specialist, and learn how to make your own kombucha!
First of all, Yannick will take the time to tell you about his background and how he became passionate about fermentation. He will explain the basic principles of fermentation and will let you sample some of his recipes.
Then, you will prepare together the various ingredients required in order to create your kombucha, which you will then put into a jar.
After this interesting and friendly workshop with Yannick, you will leave with your own kombucha to enjoy at home!
Workshop location
Yannick's workshop is located a few minutes' walk from the Pannenhuis metro station (line 6) and the Dieudonné Lefèvre bus stop (line 88).

Practical information
The workshop is not heated, and for good reason! Yannick and his team ferment the lactos at room temperature and they don't want to rush these fermentations. The workshop varies between 15 and 25 degrees throughout the year. Dress warmly!

Atelier super chouette, à la fois convivial et très instructif. On apprend plein de choses dans une ambiance détendue, avec de belles dégustations et des conseils faciles à appliquer chez soi. Ça donne vraiment envie de se lancer. Je recommande vivement !

This was a fascinating and informative workshop. We got to taste a range of flavoured kombuchas, had a very clear demo on how to make kombucha, and all questions were answered authoratitively. We all went home with a bottle of kombucha and a jar of scoby, as well as a qr code leading to instructions. I would highly recommend this workshop, as a great introduction to making your own healthy fermented drinks.

J’ai adoré l’expérience ! L’atelier était à la fois instructif et convivial : nous avons découvert l’histoire du kombucha, ses bienfaits, ainsi que toutes les étapes pour le préparer soi-même à la maison. Yannick a su rendre la partie théorique claire et accessible, tout en nous guidant pas à pas dans la pratique. J’ai particulièrement apprécié l’échange autour des différentes saveurs et idées de recettes pour personnaliser nos boissons. Je suis reparti(e) avec mon propre kombucha en fermentation et l’envie de continuer l’expérience chez moi. Merci!

Super atelier pour se lancer comme des grands avec notre ScobyDoo! La palette des possibilités est immense, cela donne vraiment envie de s'y mettre afin de réaliser chez soi cette boisson qui n'apporte que des bénéfices.
