  • In this three and a half-hour workshop at Molten 1090, hosted by experienced artisan Laura, participants have the opportunity to learn the art of glass blowing. The workshop begins with an introduction to Molten 1090 and Laura and Emily, the sister team behind the brand.

Laura then demonstrates the glass blowing process, providing a practical overview of the techniques and tools involved. She focuses on teaching the safe use of specialised tools in the hotshop, including the punty, blowing iron, jacks, glass tweezers, and marver.

You will then get the chance to create your own glass pieces.  Choose from a variety of colours and let you guide through the process of shaping and blowing your creations. The workshop is designed to be hands-on, allowing you to craft a unique item such as a paperweight, bauble, or small vessel !

Your finished glass pieces will be ready for collection one week after the workshop, offering a lasting reminder of the skills and creativity that you explored during the session !
