Ideal for the curious and photography enthusiasts, this workshop led by Sander invites you to explore the art of black and white printing.
You'll start with an introduction to the basics of film photography, focusing on the development process and the specifics of black and white. Sander will guide you through the preparation of images from plants or your own photographs to create unique and personal compositions.
You will then learn how to use the tools and techniques needed to produce your prints. Each step will be explained and guided, from choosing paper to developing in the darkroom. You will have the opportunity to create between four and six prints, in formats to suit you and the ideas you want to bring to life.
Whether you're a beginner or already familiar with argentic photography, this monthly workshop is an excellent opportunity to perfect your skills or discover a different artistic approach. Come away with your own creations and a better understanding of this timeless art form!

Based in Brussels since 2007, Sander de Wilde is a Dutch photographer with a rich and inspiring background. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, he has built his career around photojournalism, portraiture and visual storytelling for international media and corporations. Alongside his professional activities, Sander explores street photography and ecological silver techniques, demonstrating an approach that is both creative and sustainable.
Sander doesn't just take pictures, he shares his knowledge through unique creative workshops. Open to all levels, these workshops are designed to inspire innovation and broaden participants' artistic horizons. Whether you're interested in photography, printmaking or digital art, Sander will guide you in experimenting with mixed techniques and concepts such as memory and evolution.
His approach to teaching combines artistic sensitivity with technical mastery, offering students a real opportunity to push the boundaries of their creative vision. These sessions place particular emphasis on the complementary use of digital and traditional tools, making these workshops as enriching for beginners as they are for experienced artists.

Hier, j’ai eu la chance de participer à un atelier de photographie argentique, une expérience aussi enrichissante que passionnante. Nous avons commencé par prendre en main un appareil argentique, avant de partir en prise de vue autour de l’atelier. Nous avons ensuite appris à développer nos pellicules pour en faire des négatifs, puis à tirer nos propres photos. L’atelier était très convivial, et Sander qui nous accompagnait a su partager son savoir avec beaucoup de clarté et de passion, en nous donnant de précieux conseils. Une superbe découverte !
