The workshop in detail

  • 15 years min.
  • Up to 10 people
  • WORKSHOP DESIGNED FOR A TEAM: Participate in this workshop with your colleagues and create unique memories together.

Join experienced photographer Sander for an original and creative team building workshop on film photography. This collaborative experience is ideal for strengthening team bonds while exploring a fascinating and authentic photographic technique.

In this workshop you will be introduced to the basics of film photography. Sander will explain how images are captured on film and detail the developing process, although you won't be directly involved in this technical stage. You'll discover everything that goes into making a silver print, from the moment it's taken to the moment it's turned into a final print.

Working in small groups, you will produce a photo report with analog cameras and films based on a theme or idea that you will explore together. This will be an opportunity to put your knowledge into practice while stimulating collective creativity. Once the films have been developed, each employee will produce some finished physical photoprints themselves and can bring them home the same day.

    Workshop location

The studio is 25 minutes by public transport from the centre of Brussels.

This place is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

    Practical information

    Let's discover analog photography together.

If you like you can bring your own negatives, even glass ones, with you. If you have an analog camera? Bring it too. Don't wear your best clothes, we'll work outside as well as with chemicals.

Also try to bring someting to transport the prints in. A folder, a plastic bag, a book?

Be sure to bring something do drink (and eat). In our building there is only tapwater.

To find our building is easy..

I will send you a plan. On the USQUARE site it is building D, first floor, atelier D125

Just call me if you can't find it or if the door is closed. I'll come and open it for you.

    See  you soon

    Photographer and Photo Developer

Based in Brussels since 2007, Sander de Wilde is a Dutch photographer with a rich and inspiring background. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, he has built his career around photojournalism, portraiture and visual storytelling for international media and corporations. Sander doesn't just take pictures, he shares his knowledge through unique creative workshops. Open to all levels, these workshops are designed to inspire innovation and broaden participants' artistic horizons. Whether you're interested in photography, printmaking or digital art, Sander will guide you in experimenting with mixed techniques and concepts such as memory and evolution.

His approach to teaching combines artistic sensitivity with technical mastery, offering students a real opportunity to push the boundaries of their creative vision. These sessions place particular emphasis on the complementary use of digital and traditional tools, making these workshops as enriching for beginners as they are for experienced artists.
