Welcome to Idil's colourful world!

As soon as you arrive, you'll be greeted by this passionate artisan who will tell you all about her background and introduce you to the basics of her craft.

Then it's up to you! Together you'll explore paper marbling techniques using natural leaves and pigments. You'll be able to try out a range of different techniques to master the patterns and effects you want to achieve on paper.

Idil will guide you every step of the way, sharing her tips and advice on how to achieve amazing results.

To make the experience even more memorable, a Turkish tea ceremony will be offered, accompanied by delicious treats.

Finally, you'll leave with your own magnificent marbled paper creations and a souvenir of this artistic (and slightly gourmet) immersion!

Workshop location

Idil's studio can be reached by public transport from the centre of Brussels.

This place is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

I really enjoyed this workshop! Idil was incredibly nice — welcoming and patient. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing and the whole experience felt like a real break for myself while watching the colours come together in unexpected ways. And I now have some beautiful pieces to decorate my walls at home :)
