The workshop in detail
Caroline is ready to welcome you into her lovely, big workshop to pass on her expertise and love for this craft!
The workshop will start with a theoretical section where you will discover the history of the cyanotype technique and the different chemical processes.
Then, it's time to practice! You will work on very thick watercolour paper and coat sheets of it. Then, you will choose the items of your choice to compose your own creation.
Caroline will provide you with a large selection of plants and negatives, but you can bring your own plants (dried at least 15 days before using the flower pressing technique). You can also contact the artisan beforehand if you wish to take a specific photo (additional cost to be paid directly to the artisan).
Your creations will then be exposed to the sun or put in light boxes before creating the A6 notebook, assembling the sheets and setting them under a press to sew the binding.
Would you rather create your own postcards or bookmarks? That's possible too!
At the end of the workshop, you will proudly leave with your own unique and personalized creations!

Caroline's studio is located in the Anderlecht district and can be reached by bus and metro (Aumale station).

Evitez les vêtement trop clairs et prévoir peut-être un gilet en plein hiver si vous être très frileux.
Vous pourrez prendre des notes si vous le souhaitez, un petit "récap'" sera de même envoyé après la session

Superbe atelier à faire. On se sent de vrais artistes (si on écoute et on suit les conseils ) grâce à cette technique étonnante. Merci à Caroline qui nous guide et nous fait part de toute son expérience. Tellement un plaisir de faire des découvertes des passions de nos artisans. Il faut les soutenir 🤩

J’ai passé un super moment dans l’atelier de Caroline. L’activité commence par une explication du processus pour ensuite le faire par nous même. J’étais très surprise du résultat et très contente de mes créations. Caroline a été super tout au long. Je recommande vivement !

Super expérience avec Caroline ! Explications théoriques intéressantes pour appréhender la technique et ensuite réalisations de nos propres œuvres en laissant cours à notre imagination, avec un très beau résultat pour une première ! Ambiance super : tisane, petites gourmandises à grignoter et beaucoup de rires au rendez-vous dans cet atelier très cosy ! Belle découverte, je recommande vivement !
