The workshop in detail
Take part in a workshop dedicated to cyanotype, an ancient photographic technique that produces prints with characteristic blue tones. Guided by Sander, an experienced photographer, you will discover the steps necessary to make your own creations.
The workshop begins with an introduction to cyanotype, including the basic principles and tools to be used. You will choose the elements for your composition, such as plants, objects or images, and learn how to prepare the supports with a photosensitive solution.
Sander will guide you through each stage: applying the product, exposing and fixing the image. You will make several prints, usually between four and six, experimenting with different formats and styles.
This workshop offers a practical and accessible introduction to this original artistic method. You'll leave with your prints and the knowledge you need to continue this activity at home!

The studio is 25 minutes by public transport from the centre of Brussels.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment lors de l’atelier de cyanotype animé par Sander. L’activité, à la fois ludique et instructive, nous a permis de découvrir cette technique fascinante tout en laissant libre cours à notre créativité. Chacun peut s’y retrouver : que l’on soit méthodique ou plus spontané, tout fonctionne et donne de superbes résultats ! Sander est un animateur passionné, patient et très pédagogue. Il instaure une ambiance conviviale et détendue, propice aux échanges. Nous repartons avec de belles créations et l’envie de continuer à explorer cette pratique.
