Workshop description

Welcome to the unique world of ceramics!

During this workshop with Claudia, you will make a magnificent vase on the wheel to display your most beautiful flowers!

At first you will learn the concepts of ceramics and the different steps to create an object. Claudia's years of teaching have enabled her to be a pedagogue and deeply human, so don't hesitate to ask her the slightest question, she will answer you with pleasure and kindness!

You will then start working with the clay so that the air bubbles escape. Installed next to your wheel, you will learn the ceramists' gestures for shaping your vase.

At the end of the workshop, the artisan will keep your work to dry slowly. The piece will be fired and then glazed. You can pick it up a few weeks later.

In any case, you will be able to proudly use your new vase to grace your everyday life.

Meet Claudia A.

Italian born Claudia has been a ceramist since 2008. It has been the common thread in all her adventures, she has never stopped practicing it!

Through her travels across countries and years, she has been inspired by all her experiences, both personal and professional.

Between her PhD in physics from Cambridge, her experiences in social work in South Africa and her training as a coach, Claudia has so much to pass on! Jovial and friendly, she practices ubuntu on a daily basis: a notion close to the concepts of humanity and fraternity.

She welcomes you with joy in her beautiful workshop shared with other artisans.

Très belle expérience! Formatrice chaleureuse qui nous a laissé beaucoup de libertés et de créativité durant l'atelier. Juste envie d'avoir plus et encore plus de temps pour tourner le plus de pots possible. Après la petite touche finale en peinture, j'ai hate de voir le résultat. Merci beaucoup à Claudia!
