With her workshops, Clara invites you to disconnect from everyday life and let your creativity run free.

Enter her beautiful workshop and discover a very creative world!

The workshop will last two hours.

You will be immersed in the world of ceramics and will work with clay under Clara's fabulous guidance. You will give shape to your clay ball to create a beautiful, personalised and original vase or soliflores thanks to different techniques: plate, columbine and pinched.

Then you will learn how to give your creations a beautiful finish. Clara will explain the difference between engobe and enamelling techniques and introduce you to the basics. You can then get to work and decorate your modelled vase or soliflores.

Clara will take care of glazing your piece in transparent gloss to make it waterproof. She will also take care of the firing of your creations, which you will be able to collect a few weeks later.

Clara offers an advanced training course with lots of explanations about clay, the art of ceramics and the different techniques!

This class is ideal for people who have already taken an introductory ceramics course. If you want to learn the basic techniques, Clara offers specific workshops.

Workshop location

Clara's workshop is located in the heart of the Saint-Gilles district, a few steps from the Porte de Hal metro station.

This place is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Practical information

Pour participer à cet atelier, prévoyez de porter une tenue confortable adaptée à l’atelier et au nettoyage en fin d’atelier, type legging ou pantalon. Il est également préférable d’avoir les ongles courts et les cheveux attachés. Enfin, si vous le pouvez, pensez à apporter votre propre tablier.

Veuillez noter que lors de la cuisson des pièces, il existe un risque de casse. Ce sont les aléas du métier et l'artisan n'en est pas responsable.

I made a small vase last weekend. It was an amazing experience, suitable for complete beginners. I must add though that you won't be making a large vase like in the pictures, nor will you really be painting them. As a total newbie it was already fun to work with clay, but since it's small and without color, I did engrave a bit on it which adds to it. You should also know that your work must dry for a month, after which you can go and pick it up. The host was really kind, patient and helpful.

Très chouette atelier, j'ai adoré! Le lieu est super sympa. Le seul aspect négatif est qu'on se sent fort pressés par le temps. 2h c'est très court, j'ai à peine eu le temps de peindre mon vase à la fin. 30min en plus ne serait pas de refus pour profiter pleinement :)

Chouette découverte d un artisanat que je ne connaissais pas. Avant l atelier, cela me paraissait simple mais j'ai pu expérimenter qu en dehors du créatif, il y a les techniques à appliquer, ce qui n'est vraiment pas donné à tout le monde 😉

J'ai été pour la fête des mères, ça a été une excellente découverte, cours facil avec l'aide de Clara. Elle a vraiment une bonne pédagogie et de la patience. Les 3h de cours sont passé rapidement ( un peu trop rapidement hahaha) Je recommande ce cours même si vous êtes une débutante vous ne serez ps déçu 😊
