Meet Claudia.
Ceramist and Turner
Originally from Italy, Claudia has been a ceramic artist since 2001. Ceramics have been the common thread running through all her adventures: she started at the age of 14 and has never stopped practising! Over the years and across different countries, she has enriched her craft through a wealth of personal and professional experiences: from earning a PhD in Physics at Cambridge, to working in the social sector in South Africa, and even training as a coach... Claudia has so much to share!
In 2017, she began teaching ceramics in her spare time, before dedicating herself fully to the art from 2019 onwards.
In 2022, Claudia opened the Epsiloc studio, a name inspired by a distorted version of the Greek letter epsilon, as well as the “c” in her first name — and also by words such as “creativity” and “curiosity.”
She is passionate about sharing the beauty of ceramics while also celebrating each person’s individuality. She draws on the power of this craft, as well as its deep connection to the earth and nature, to help people discover that unique spark within themselves and nurture it.
