The workshop in detail
Welcome to the unique world of ceramics!
During this workshop with Claudia, you will create a beautiful ceramic object through modelling.
In a first step, you will learn the concepts of ceramics and the different stages to make an object. Claudia's years of teaching have allowed her to be a great pedagogue and deeply human, so don't hesitate to ask her any question, she will answer you with pleasure and kindness. Claudia will suggest a moment of disconnection, of listening to oneself and one's body through pottery. The workshop will start with a short introduction to focusing... then you will have to let your hands express themselves!
You too will start working with clay, and then it's time for action! You will learn the gestures of the ceramists to realize your symbolic and intuitive creation. You will also have the opportunity to decorate it with slip. A pot, a candle holder, a small dish? Let your hands and your heart guide you!
At the end of the workshop, the craftsman will store your work so that it can dry slowly. They will be fired and then glazed. You can then pick them up a few weeks later.
In all cases, you will be able to proudly use your new ceramic object in your daily life!

Practical information
Pour participer à cet atelier, prévoyez de porter une tenue confortable adaptée à l’atelier et au nettoyage en fin d’atelier, type legging ou pantalon. Il est également préférable d’avoir les ongles courts et les cheveux attachés. Enfin, si vous le pouvez, pensez à apporter votre propre tablier.
Veuillez noter que lors de la cuisson des pièces, il existe un risque de casse. Ce sont les aléas du métier et l'artisan n'en est pas responsable.

Ceramist and Turner
Italian born Claudia has been a ceramist since 2008. It has been the common thread in all her adventures, she has never stopped practicing it!
Through her travels across countries and years, she has been inspired by all her experiences, both personal and professional.
Between her PhD in physics from Cambridge, her experiences in social work in South Africa and her training as a coach, Claudia has so much to pass on! Jovial and friendly, she practices ubuntu on a daily basis: a notion close to the concepts of humanity and fraternity.
She welcomes you with joy in her beautiful workshop shared with other artisans.

Atelier au top! Nous sommes allées entre copines et l'ambiance était tres agréable. Alexandra est tres douce, pedagogue et gentille! On peut laisser libre à sa créativité, genial ! On a adoré :-)

J'ai passé un très bel après-midi en compagnie de Claudia. L'atelier va au-delà de l'aspect purement technique pour nous amener à faire un avec notre corps, nos mains, notre énergie et celle des autres participants. Un beau moment pour se ressourcer et partager.

L'atelier animé par Claudia était une première expérience pour nous (réalisé en famille). Claudia a adapté les explications et créations individuelles en fonction des niveaux. Elle a fait preuve d'une patience, d'une écoute et d'une pédagogie incroyable. C'était un moment suspendu, entre émotions, création, méditation,... A recommander!
