The workshop in detail
Discover the fascinating world of stained glass and craft your very own unique piece with the skilled stained glass artist Margaux.
As you arrive, you'll be warmly welcomed with a drink to enjoy a friendly and relaxed moment.
The experience begins with an introduction to the basics of stained glass, where you'll learn about the tools and techniques used in the Tiffany method. You'll discover how using copper foil instead of lead creates a unique lighting effect.
Next, you'll select the colours of the glass and design a custom pattern for your stained glass. You'll be inspired by the color palette and patterns proposed by the artist to create your own masterpiece.
Then comes the practical part. You'll cut the glass pieces according to a template, and grind them to the desired shape. The application of the copper foil on each piece and the soldering of the edges with tin will solidify the whole.
Once the assembly is complete, you'll receive guidance on finishing touches to make your piece truly unique and exceptional.
Finally, you'll leave the workshop with your very own handmade stained glass, ready to be displayed at home and enhance your interior.

Meet Margaux
Stained glass artist
Margaux began her artistic journey in Belgium at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, where she studied sculpture and received her Master's degree with distinction.
However, this was just the start of her creative exploration! She quickly delved into the use of light to add an extra dimension to her artistic work.
Her passion led her to the captivating world of stained glass, where she learned the craft's techniques and secrets from a master stained glass artist before starting her own business.
Through her stained glass creations, Margaux is able to represent invisible phenomena to the naked eye and make them accessible to everyone. Her work is a celebration of the history and tradition of stained glass, infused with her own modern creativity.
Her exceptional vision and mastery of the stained glass craft have earned her numerous prestigious awards and exhibitions, including the Boghossian Foundation Prize in 2021 and an exhibition at Villa Empain.

Merci Margaux. J'ai apprécié "TOUT". Ton accueil, ton calme, tes explications, ton aide à nous aider à trouver les bons gestes, tes infos sur le site que je ne connaissais pas,... Bref, j'ai passé un très bon moment que je n'ai pas vu passer. Je suis contente du vitrail que j'ai fait.

Margaux est super, même si elle ne se rend pas nécessairement compte. J'ai entamé le workshop de vitrail Tiffanny avec beaucoup d'appréhension parce que je ne suis pas du tout manuelle. Mais, parce que je suis fascinée depuis longtemps par le mystère et la beauté de l'art du vitrail, je me suis quand-même lancée. Malgré mon malaise, Margaux a su m'encourager avec finalement un résultat surprenant pour moi à la fin du workshop. Merci Margaux, tu ouvres des portes.

Merci à Margaux pour son écoute et sa patience! Il s'agit d'un atelier où j'ai appris beaucoup de choses en un très court laps de temps: couper le verre, le roder et souder pour obtenir une création en vitrail original. Je conseille cet atelier à 100%

Un grand merci à Margaux pour le partage de son savoir-faire! En moins de 4h, nous avons appris à couper le verre, à le polir et à souder notre pièce... C'est un atelier très convivial et Margaux est vraiment à l'écoute pour nous guider dans les bons gestes.

Un moment hors du quotidien, avec juste une capitaine assurée pour nous guider, beaucoup de bienveillance. Je me suis découverte capable de choses auxquelles je ne m’attendais pas ! Et puis, il faut le dire : travailler le verre, dompter des morceaux qu’on perçoit comme coupant, est vraiment satisfaisant :-) merci Margaux !
