Dive into the world of custom screen printing with Axel! This workshop will allow you to work from your own photos, transform them and explore the art of two colour printing on high quality paper.

The workshop begins with an introduction to the world of screen printing. Axel will guide you through the process of preparing your photo and showing you how to make it 'printable' using Adobe Photoshop. Once this stage is complete, you'll move on to the next: customising your image. You will learn how to modify, remove or distort certain elements of your photo to add a new artistic dimension. This transformation work will enable you to prepare the image for screen printing.

You will then expose your own screen and add a layer of colour, adding accents that will further enhance your design. This layer is applied by analogy, using transparencies and markers. Axel will guide you through the process to ensure optimum results.

Once the two canvases are finished, it's time to print! You'll learn the techniques and tips you need to print correctly on Fabriano 220g art paper. Thanks to Axel's advice, you'll be able to produce a perfect two-colour silkscreen on A3 format. At the end of the workshop you'll leave with a set of 5 unique prints.
