The workshop in detail

  • 2h30
  • 2 to 6 participants
  • 15 years min.
  • Explore the fascinating world of ceramics with Sandrine!

As soon as you arrive, you'll be greeted by a warm and creative atmosphere that's perfect for expressing your artistic talents.

During the theoretical presentation on ceramics, you'll learn about the basics of this ancient art form. You'll discover how to work with clay to release air bubbles, which is essential for bringing your creations to life.

Then, it's time to get hands-on and start sculpting! You'll have the opportunity to use various techniques to create your own ceramic plant essentials, including a flower pot and a practical small watering can called a chantepleure. You'll let your imagination and creativity flow as you shape the clay with your hands and bring your inspirations to life.

At the end of the workshop, the ceramicist may ask for your help cleaning up the materials. You'll leave your sculpted pieces with her for drying, double firing, and glazing. You'll arrange for pickup directly with the artisan while you're there.

In the end, you'll be eager to use your beautiful plant essentials, created by your own hands, to add a personal touch to your home.
