The workshop in detail
Ceramics are back in the spotlight, and many are daring to embark on pottery activities to bring authenticity to their everyday lives!
Sandrine invites you to discover the art of ceramics during a 2.5-hour workshop where you will create your own unique bathroom set consisting of two pieces.
After kicking off the session with a drink, the ceramicist will guide you through the basics of the craft, as well as show you techniques like pinching, slab building, and coiling to take your creations to the next level.
Using only high-quality stoneware, you'll mold one cup and a soap dish that are both functional and beautiful. It's the perfect opportunity to let your creativity run wild and add those unique finishing touches that truly make them yours.
At the end of the workshop, the artist may ask for your help in cleaning up the materials. Then you will hand over your unique pieces to her, and she will take care of the drying, double firing, and glazing. You can arrange the details for picking up your pieces with the artist on site.
You will be proud to use your new ceramic set in your bathroom every day!

Practical information
A drink will be offered to you to enjoy a relaxing moment.
To participate in this workshop, please wear comfortable clothing suitable for the workshop and cleaning at the end, such as leggings or pants. It is also preferable to have short nails and tied hair. Finally, if possible, please consider bringing your own apron.
Please be aware that there is a risk of breakage during the firing process of the pieces. This is just a part of the craft, and the artisan cannot be held responsible for any mishaps that may occur.

Ceramist
Sandrine's love for pottery began in childhood and only grew stronger during her higher education years in illustration and engraving in Brussels. Her passion for ceramics led her to perfect her craft at the prestigious Academy of Saint-Gilles.
As a true creative, Sandrine continuously explores new techniques and shapes, skillfully balancing tradition with originality to produce both practical and imaginative pieces.
As an experienced teacher, Sandrine enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise through hands-on workshops that introduce the joys of pottery wheel and modeling. Through these sessions, participants can experience the therapeutic benefits of working with their hands and the beauty of creating with clay.
