The workshop in detail
Express your own style by creating the dress of your dreams in just one day!
Eléonore opens the doors of her studio to introduce you to the art of sewing. You will have the chance to create your own wrap dress, which will be the pride of your wardrobe!
Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed with a drink to enjoy a friendly moment. The sewing expert will start by explaining the basics of sewing, detailing the necessary tools and the different steps to sew a garment.
Next, it's time to create your custom-made wrap dress! You will first choose your fabric, then take your measurements.
According to the reference pattern, you will precisely cut the fabric before setting up at the sewing machine. You will have fun creating balloon sleeves, hems, and inserting elastic. Gradually, your dress will take shape under your fingers!
After finishing the last touches, your wrap dress will finally be ready!
At the end of the day, you will leave with your unique and personal creation, made with your own hands, to proudly wear on any occasion!
For the lunch break, remember to bring your own food and refreshments.

Seamstress
As somebody who has had a lifelong obsession with clothes, Éléonore loves to dress up and is a pro at discreetly stealing clothes from her mum's closet!
As a teenager, she almost becomes a fast-fashion shopping addict. But it was also at this time that she discovered sewing and the pleasure of wearing unique pieces made by her own little hands. Helped by her mother, who was passionate about sewing (and who was certainly tired of seeing her clothes disappear from her closet), she learned to use the sewing machine until she just couldn't get enough of it.
She dreamed of entering the fashion industry, but since that is often synonymous with exploitation and pollution, she chose to launch the Couture Club in order to raise awareness and help others see the impact of textiles on our precious planet. For her, sewing is a way of rethinking her consumption patterns and switching to slow-fashion through awareness of the time, cost and complexity of making clothes. And then wearing clothes and accessories that you took the time to make yourself is a source of immense satisfaction!
Today, she can't wait to welcome you to her own extremely pleasant, bright studio in the courtyard of the Grand Hospice in Brussels!
