The workshop in detail

This workshop is only open to people that had an inititaion and that would like to improve their skills in this know-how.

It is necessary to know how to use a sewing machine or to have participated to the initiation "Discover how to sew and upcycle" from the same artisan.

Step into the wonderful workshop of R-Use Fabrik and enjoy a unique experience with Sophie, Mathilde and their team. They will teach you how to make a lovely upcycled shoulder bag!

Having presented the R-Use Fabrik project and philosophy, they will show you their beautiful collection of used fabrics. You will be able to choose those you prefer in order to make your unique bag.

Then, you will cut the chosen fabrics according to the patterns, before taking your place at the sewing machine. The team will guide you as you sew your bag.

Once the shoulder bag is made, it's time for the final finishing touches and the zip fastener.

And there you have it, a brand new shoulder bag to wear in every situation!

Workshop location

Sophie, Mathilde and their team's workshop is located in Ixelles, right next to the cemetery. It can be reached by public transport (train, tram, bus and metro).

This place is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Super expérience que je recommande vivement ! Nous étions très bien encadrés et nous avons pu tous repartir avec notres belle création le soir même. Quelques commentaires parlent du patron : en ce qui nous concerne nous l'avons reçu à la fin de l'atelier (il faut juste le demander).

Super atelier ! Fabienne nous a bien guidé pour réaliser la banane et nous a donné de précieux conseils, le tout dans une bonne ambiance :) Je recommande !

Super expérience ! L'endroit est vraiment bien adapté avec tout le matos nécessaire sur place (et même plus). Etant toutes les 4 novices à la machine à coudre, Fabienne a été patiente et très pédagogue avec nous et nos erreurs ! Grâce à ses conseils, nos bananes sont vraiment cool et cela nous a donné envie de faire plus de couture. Je recommande à 100% !!

Très chouette atelier : Fabienne est souriante, disponible et explique tout bien. Et le choix de tissu est infini, une vraie caverne d'ali baba ! Ravie de ma banane personnalisée 😍 Je recommande ! P.S. Le top du top serait de recevoir le patron de la banane après l'atelier !

Chouette atelier dans un lieu " caverne d'Ali Baba" aux charmes multiples. Personnellement, avoir une idée de l'ensemble des étapes à réaliser avant de se lancer m'aurait plu. Je trouve aussi dommage que le patron " libre de droit" ne nous soit pas donné à la fin de l'atelier. Heureusement, une participante le connaissait et nous a transmis le lien pour l'imprimer.
