Discover the secrets of sewing with Caroline !This passionate artisan will be delighted to welcome you to her beautiful workshop. After taking some time to get to know you, she will explain her background and the theory behind her skills. Then it is time to get hands-on! First you will discover the design of your pouch, which is suitable for beginners as well as advanced enthusiasts. With Caroline's help, you will then choose your favourite fabric from the range on offer, before discovering the main functions of the sewing machine. She will then take you step by step through the process of making your pouch, from cutting to sewing to assembling. You will also have the chance to add personal touches to your creation, such as cords, light embroidery or other decorative elements. Caroline will be by your side every step of the way to answer any questions you may have and to help you if you need it. At the end of the session, you will leave with your very own beautiful multi-purpose pouch, ready to hold whatever you want it to hold: loose food, toiletries, underwear, storage space... The possibilities are endless!

NB: For this workshop you can bring your own sewing machine for personalised help with your design.

Workshop location

Caroline's studio is located in the Anderlecht district and can be reached by bus and metro (Aumale station).

This place is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Un moment hors du temps où j'ai appris les bases pour utiliser ma machine à coudre dans la bonne humeur. Caroline est géniale ; disponible sans être trop sur l'élève qui apprend. Un moment délicieux que je vais certainement réitérer

Super atelier :) je n'avais aucune base et j'ai vraiment eu l'impression de prendre en main la machine et d'apprendre suffisamment pour pouvoir refaire le pochon chez moi, Caroline prend bien le temps d'expliquer et met une chouette ambiance !

J'ai suivi l'atelier d'initiation à la couture avec mon fiancé la semaine dernière, et c'était génial. Nous n'avions jamais touché une machine à coudre avant cet atelier, et nous sommes rentrés chez nous avec nos propres créations. Caroline est patiente et explique les choses clairement, mais elle laisse aussi beaucoup d'autonomie pour que l'on puisse profiter pleinement de l'expérience. Elle est très sociable, et nous avons beaucoup appris (pas seulement en couture !)
