Michel will welcome you to his studio for eight hours of woodworking discovery, and improve your skills and knowledge, in particular: half-wood assembly, framing, dowelling, panel sawing, edge covering, and make, with his precious help, a unique coffee table!

The discovery of the place, some theoretical bases on woodworking and the tools used will start the session, you will go from the raw material to the finished product and discover truing, planing, tracing, sawing, notching and gluing.

After highlighting the importance of the outline, you will work on traditional half-wood and forged joints using a saw, bedan and chisel. The fundamental role of a precise tracing and its respect will be obvious to you.

After a few hours and a careful sanding followed by a coat of oil, your creation will be finished!

Michel will accompany you throughout this immersive woodworking workshop!

C’était une expérience fantastique. Nous passons par toutes les étapes de fabrication de la table et Michel prend son temps à nous expliquer les techniques et les gestes en partageant sa passion. J’ai appris énormément et je pars avec une table de qualité … que j’ai faite moi même !

Super atelier ! J'ai vraiment pris beaucoup de plaisir à réaliser ma table basse. Michel est très consciencieux et nous apprend autant de l'histoire que de la botanique que de l'artisanat.

Lorsque je suis rentré, mon amoureuse et mon fils m'ont complimenté à la fois sur la table que je ramenais, mais aussi sur mes nouvelles compétences en matière de menuiserie (qui était encore inexistante le matin au réveil). Quelle fierté. Et tout cela grâce à la rencontre d'un artisan passionné, compétent, qui aime transmettre son savoir et qui arrive à sortir le meilleur de vous-mêmes. Merci beaucoup.

Une expérience incroyable passée dans les locaux de Michel ! Et il y est pour beaucoup ! Des anecdotes, des explications détaillées et agrémentées de son humour chantant. Tout cela en nous passant sa passion pour le bois et en nous permettant de construire de nos mains une table en hêtre qui restera pour les générations futures.
