Learn how to use a wood lathe at this 4-hour workshop with Marc!

This introductory session will start with a tour of his beautiful workshop to discover his traditional universe. He will present his career, some of his projects, and explain what the wood lathe is.

He will also show you the different tools he uses on a daily basis, as well as several types of wood. You will then launch into the practical component, with the handling of the tools.

Marc will teach you how to rough out the wood and then work your piece of wood to give it the shape of a candlestick. You will also be responsible for finishing by sanding and then applying an oil, wax or varnish.

To round of this wonderful time spent with this wood expert and enthusiast, you will get to leave with your own beautiful candleholder, made by your own hands!

Workshop location

Marc's workshop is 30 minutes by car from central Brussels.

This place is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
