Make your own custom pencil skirt pattern with Julie

This workshop is the perfect way to discover pattern making, even if you have no previous experience. The session starts with an introduction to Julie and her background, followed by a round table to get to know each other. 

You'll learn how to create a pattern for a made-to-measure pencil skirt, starting by taking your measurements (waist, hips, etc.). You will then draw the reference axes on the pattern (centre back, centre front, waist, small hips, pelvis).

After calculating the necessary ease, you will transfer the measurements to the pattern, add the clips and draw the curves of the sides. At the end of the workshop, you'll modify the pattern to personalise your design (add slits, ruffles, cut-outs like a denim skirt, etc.).

You'll leave with a bespoke pencil skirt pattern, ready to be turned into a garment!
