This workshop is the perfect way to discover pattern making, even if you have no previous experience. The session starts with an introduction to Julie and her background, followed by a round table to get to know each other.
You'll learn how to create a pattern for a made-to-measure pencil skirt, starting by taking your measurements (waist, hips, etc.). You will then draw the reference axes on the pattern (centre back, centre front, waist, small hips, pelvis).
After calculating the necessary ease, you will transfer the measurements to the pattern, add the clips and draw the curves of the sides. At the end of the workshop, you'll modify the pattern to personalise your design (add slits, ruffles, cut-outs like a denim skirt, etc.).
You'll leave with a bespoke pencil skirt pattern, ready to be turned into a garment!

Depuis son enfance, cette créatrice a toujours été attirée par le monde de la mode. Convaincue de l'importance sociale du vêtement, elle voit en lui bien plus qu'une simple enveloppe : un moyen d'expression personnelle et un facteur clé de confiance en soi.
Sa fascination pour l'artisanat l'amène à rechercher des finitions impeccables et à transformer chaque défi technique en une opportunité d'innovation créative.
Diplômée de La Cambre Modes, Julie acquiert une solide formation qui lui permet de se consacrer pleinement à sa passion. Depuis septembre 2023, celle-ci s'épanouit dans son atelier, partageant son savoir-faire avec une vision particulière de l'artisanat.
La styliste privilégie les pièces uniques et les petites séries, persuadée que les vêtements doivent mettre en valeur le corps et non l'inverse. Son intérêt pour la déconstruction vestimentaire la pousse à concevoir des pièces qui s'enroulent autour du corps, plaçant ce dernier au centre de la création.
