Make your own tea light candle

To enlighten your daily life, you will have the opportunity to learn how to make a beautiful tea light candle during this workshop with Annette and Jean-Manuel.

They welcome you with a smile in their beautiful workshop in the heart of the magnificent racecourse of Boitsfort to discover this forgotten craft to which they devote themselves fully every day in duo.

After having learnt about the art of candle making and the steps involved in creating the wax (types of wax, melting temperature, etc.), you will select the design of your candle according to your wishes and tastes. You will decide on the final look you want to achieve by choosing the decorations (dried flowers, stones, wood, wax colour, etc.).

Then you can start the action! Using a special mould, you will make the different layers of your candle, inserting the decorative elements and ensuring that drying time is allowed between stages.

Finally, the artisan candle makers will give you advice on how to use the candle to make it last as long as possible.

You will be able to collect your creation the next day in the workshop after it has dried.

This is a unique candle that will light up your home!

The candle can also be sent by post for a cost of 10 €.

Annette and Jean-Manuel are bound together in love as well as in their passion for candles!

Before discovering this art, they worked in the food industry. After some soul-searching, they decided to change careers!

It was during an event that they met a person who would change their lives: an artisan candle maker was looking for a successor and was ready to sell all his equipment and train them! Bingo! Annette and Jean-Manuel started spending a lot of time with this artisan and became passionate about his art. A few months later, they took the equipment home and embarked on the adventure of artisanal entrepreneurship!

Today, their creations are both beautiful and diverse! Their collection includes tea light candles, dipped candles, scented candles, poured candles and more. Each creation is unique!

Educational, they are eager to share the techniques of their art, little known and magical, which calls up childhood memories!
