There's nothing better than a beautiful felt rug to dress up your floors!

Stefanie will guide you through this workshop to create your own custom-made rug. She will start the session with a discovery of the workshop, its history, its commitments and its wool working techniques.

Then you will select the wool of your choice. The wool used comes from Stefanie's parents' blacknose sheep farm. Several colours will be offered thanks to the dyeing skills of the craftswoman!

You will choose the shape of your future carpet before you start making your creation.

The craftswoman will guide you through the different stages to ensure that the result is harmonious. You will have to test, repeat and improve the positioning of the wool fibres of different colours!

You will then work on the so-called "wet felting". This is a technique that Stefanie will pass on to you with a lot of pedagogy and passion.

You will leave this initiation with your beautiful carpet under your arm. It will bring softness to your interior as well as a beautiful design touch.

L'atelier de feutrage avec Stephanie a été une superbe experience! C'est l'occasion de réaliser une piece spéciale avec un artisan de un grand savoir-faire et de se laisser-aller à sa créativité. Elle nous accompagne à chaque étape de la creation de notre tapis. On apprend énormément sur le traitement et la teinture de la laine mais aussi sur les alternatives écologiques aux textiles d'aujourdhui. Ses matériaux sont d'une grande qualité et le résultat est une vrai oeuvre d'art. Je recommande!
