The workshop in detail

Amélie is excited to welcome to her beautiful jewellery workshop, where you can discover the world of lost-wax casting!

Amélie will start with a theoretical introduction to this ingenious technique, which is so close to her own heart.

You will then have the opportunity to create a ring or a signet ring guided by Amélie's advice.

You can come with your inspirations: the jeweler can guide you in the creation of your ideas depending on the size and complexity.

To bring your creation to life, you will carve hard wax, known as carving wax, into your chosen design.

As you craft your ring, you can really play with texture: smooth, engraved, perforated, scored, etc. It's up to you!

Amélie will then cast the ring in silver and complete any finishing touches. Two weeks later, your creation will be ready to pick up.

Pssst! You will also have the opportunity to gold plate your creation for an additional fee, which is paid directly to Amélie.

Workshop location

L'atelier d'Amélie se trouve à deux pas de l'étang d'Ixelles et desservi par l'arrêt de bus Flagey, bus N10.

This place is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Atelier au top, Amélie a de supers conseils et nous guide pas à pas pour nous permettre de concrétiser notre idée. Le temps de l'atelier me semble approprier pour avoir le temps de créer la bague et peaufiner les détails ( bague en argent sur la photo réalisée pendant l'atelier)

Waouw! Je te remercie chaleureusement, Amélie, pour la qualité de cet atelier très intéressant, pour la clarté de tes explications et conseils, pour la convivialité que tu instaures. Je me suis sentie privilégiée et j'ai a-do-ré ce moment tout en créativité et en bienveillance. J'ai hâte de voir le rendu, mais en tout cas, je n'avais pas osé espérer d'arriver à une telle finesse en terme de détails. A vivre absolument si vous aimer travailler tout en munitie!

un très bon moment, de l'acceuil à la fin, très convivial, avec un véritable souci de pédagogie. Non seulement on avance sur "son" bijou mais on participe (un peu) au développement des autres bijoux en profitant de visions diverses.

Un super atelier accessible à tous.tes, où Amélie prend le temps de nous expliquer chaque étape pas à pas. Amélie nous a accueilli chaleureusement, avec le sourire et nous avons adoré cet atelier et découvrir cette technique. Nous avons déjà envie d'y reparticiper! Foncez-y les yeux fermés!
