Experience the enchanting world of bees!

Upon arriving at the workshop location, you'll receive a warm welcome from Hubert and his team. The session will kick off with a theoretical introduction to beekeeping, covering topics like hive functioning, seasonal aspects, types of insects, and their roles – everything you need to know about bees!

Afterwards, it's time to gear up in beekeeping suits for the exciting second part of the workshop: a guided tour of the beehives! The skilled artisans will lead you through the discovery of these fascinating structures, offering behind-the-scenes insights, including the opportunity to open one of the hives.

The workshop will conclude with a delightful tasting of honey and other bee products – a truly indulgent moment!

You'll leave with a wealth of knowledge about bees and a strong desire to protect them in your daily life.

NB: For this workshop, we recommend dressing appropriately with long-sleeved tops, long pants, and closed-toe shoes.

Workshop location

Les ruches de Hubert se situent non loin du parking de la Rue au Bois, où vous le retrouverez pour l'atelier.

This place is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Practical information

During this workshop, you'll be outdoors, in close contact with the bees! It is, therefore, highly recommended to bring a water bottle per person and dress accordingly: long-sleeved tops, long trousers and closed-toe shoes.

Seriously weird and cool workshop, nothing like seeing thousands of bees working to get an appreciation for honey. Instructor was very friendly and knowledgeable. Can very much recommend!
