With your hands in the clay, you are about to embark on a unique and intense experience: creating two ceramic bowls.

From the moment you arrive, you will be transported into the world of ceramics, with its tools, techniques, and secrets. Absorb the wise advice of the ceramic artist, who will guide you step by step in creating your two unique pieces.

It's time to roll up your sleeves! You will begin by preparing the clay, ensuring it is perfectly smooth and free from air bubbles.

Then comes the magic of the potter's wheel! Seated at the pottery wheel, you will take hold of the clay, attempting to master this ancient technique. Step by step, you will start to grasp the nuances of the craft. Your two bowls will take shape under your fingers, and you won't be able to help feeling an immense sense of pride.

During the workshop, a beverage will be provided for you to enjoy a friendly and relaxing moment.

After cleaning and tidying up the materials, you will entrust your pieces to the artisan, who will take care of the drying, white glazing, and double firings. You will arrange the details for retrieving your pieces directly with her.

By the end of the workshop, you will be eager to collect your two unique bowls, with the satisfaction of having discovered the fascinating world of ceramics.

Practical information

To participate in this workshop, please plan to wear comfortable clothing suitable for the practice and cleaning at the end of the session. It is also advisable to have short nails and tied-up hair. If possible, consider bringing your own apron.

J’ai récemment participé à un atelier de poterie animé par Aurore, et c’était un vrai moment de plaisir. L’ambiance était conviviale, détendue, et chacune a pu avancer à son rythme tout en partageant un bon moment. Aurore crée un espace où l’on se sent immédiatement à l’aise, guidé sans pression, avec beaucoup de bienveillance. Une expérience sympathique qui donne envie de revenir les mains dans l’argile. Merci pour ce beau moment !

Super sympa ! C’était ma première expérience au tour mais je suis très content de ce qu’on a pu realiser en un seul atelier d'initiation. Merci beaucoup à Aurore qui avec ses 10 ans d'expérience a su nous transmettre les bases de cet art en nous accompagnant de manière pédagogique et sans chichi. Une vraie artisane passionnée par son métier ! Je recommande à fond !

Nous avons passé une belle soirée à suivre les indications d'Aurore, essayer de confectionner un beau pot au tour, papoter, rire, ... Les étapes sont bien expliquées et Aurore est prête à nous épauler à chaque étape.
