Create your own A4 photo album with Céline and discover the technique of screw binding to craft an elegant, durable and fully personalised piece.

Workshop outline:

• Introduction: discover the principles of screw binding, the different stages of the process and the professional tools available to help you create your album.

• Cutting the papers: begin by accurately cutting your cover papers using professional equipment (cutting mat, ruler, craft knife, eraser, cloth and professional French-made glue).

• Covering the boards: cover the pre-cut boards prepared by Céline (front cover, back cover and spine) using traditional bookbinding covering techniques.

• Piercing and assembly: pierce the elements and insert the screws to assemble your album and give it its final structure.

• Personalisation: choose from three decorative papers provided or bring your own (suitable for the technique – wallpaper is not recommended) to create an album that reflects your style. Inner pages or plastic sleeves are not supplied, allowing you complete freedom in choosing the contents.

At the end of the workshop, you will leave with your handmade A4 photo album. A technical guide will also be provided so you can recreate the process at home independently.
