Immerse yourself in the warm and welcoming world of Charlotte, a passionate ceramic artist.
After a brief introduction to the materials and pinching technique, you will start creating your own piece. You will shape your piece by hand, learning to sense the material's properties and mould it into your desired shape. Charlotte will guide you every step of the way to help you achieve a personalised and successful result.
Once you have decided on the shape of your mug, you can start decorating it. Using simple tools and coloured engobes (clay-based colours), you can experiment with patterns, textures and shades to make your creation your own.
At the end of the workshop, everyone helps to clean up before leaving Charlotte to take care of the drying, firing and glazing. You will then have to wait a few weeks before collecting your finished mug. Made from Belgian stoneware, your mug will be as beautiful as it is practical for everyday use — it's both dishwasher-proof and coffee-proof!

Ceramists
Having made ceramics since she was a child, Charlotte has turned her passion into her work!
During her studies in nutrition and food, she rediscovered her childhood passion during a ceramic and molding module in food design. She then decided to restart ceramics classes with her friend Laura.
After a few months of lockdown, they decided to take the leap and equipped themselves to launch their own ceramic workshop. Their shared love for craftsmanship led them to create BISKUI, their very own ceramic workshop where they think, draw, and make their pieces.
Patient and dedicated, Charlotte will guide you step by step in the creation of unique pieces and will share with you her passion for ceramics!
