Meet Hade
Jewellery Designer and Goldsmith
As a child, Hade could spend hours at the local bead shop, making jewellery from the loot she got. As a teenager, jewellery making took a back seat, but the desire to be creative remained.
While studying architecture, she loved model making, office work a little less... Too much administration, too little creativity, too many regulations, too little control over the final result!
Her outlet? Travelling! She finally took the plunge, followed her passions and started training as a goldsmith in 2006. It turned out to be just what she was looking for: a mixture of technical skills and creativity, and a mastery of the final result. Her hands wanted to get back to work!
She sees her jewellery as buildings in miniature. As in architecture, the use of materials and the stability of the construction are important, things have to be calculated, ease of use has to be taken into account as well as aesthetics.
Today, she is not only a designer, but also a manufacturer: a breath of fresh air!
"The answers to what we are looking for are often very close to us. Sometimes it's about reconnecting with the fun we had when we were kids."
