Discover the timeless beauty of porcelain paper and experience a unique skill!

Emilie will welcome you into her subtle and delicate universe during a 2.5-hour workshop where she will share her expertise in porcelain paper modeling. In an authentic setting, you will make three porcelain pieces of your choice (such as a tray, bowl, or candle holder).

After an introduction to the basics of ceramics and shaping, you will learn the technique of porcelain paper, a poetic material that resonates with finesse and transparency. You will shape your three unique pieces and explore the potential of porcelain's transparency to the fullest with the pinching technique.

At the end of the workshop, Emilie will take care of firing and glazing (with transparent glaze) your three handmade creations after drying. You can then arrange for the collection of your finished pieces with the artist.

Nous avons été très bien accueillies par Emilie, dans sa maison d'artiste. Après quelques présentations des différentes terres, nous nous sommes lancés, dans différents projets, suivant nos créativités personnelles. Qui une tasse, qui un bougeoir...même un joli petit fantôme est sorti des doigts d'une participante! Très très bonne ambiance, quelques rires, une tasse de thé ( faites mains, les tasses, évidemment )... Pour ma part, je n'ai pas eu le temps de travailler 3 pièces. Je pense, effectivement, qu'un atelier de 2h30 est un peu court, compte tenu de l'installation, de la réflexion, des essais-erreur. Je partirais sur un atelier de 3 heures. Je reviendrai, c'est certain. Merci Emilie.

Heel leuke ervaring gehad in het atelier van Emilie! Ze neemt alle tijd om je zo goed mogelijk te helpen met je eigen creaties. Naast het zelf maken van je eigen potjes, vazen, kopjes,.. krijg je ook informatie over de verschillende materialen en processen. Emilie weet waarover ze spreekt. Dankjewel voor de fijne ervaring! 😊
