Bring your own clay character to life with Nastia! Illustrator and ceramic artist Nastia welcomes you into her studio, where drawn characters become expressive three-dimensional sculptures. Throughout this workshop, you'll learn how to imagine, sculpt, and personalize your own unique figure while exploring the connection between illustration, storytelling, and ceramics.

Workshop schedule:

• Welcome and studio introduction: begin the experience with a hot drink while discovering Nastia's artistic world and her ceramic creations.

• Sketching your character: start by drawing your idea, then learn how to transform it into a three-dimensional figure by considering posture, proportions, and personality.

• Hand-building with clay: shape your sculpture step by step while discovering the fundamentals of stylized anatomy, structural stability, and hand-building techniques.

• Adding details and textures: use a variety of sculpting tools and custom slips to refine your character with expressive features, textures, and carefully crafted finishing touches.

• Personalization: depending on your preference, you can finish your piece as a sculpted character or continue by painting it to give it even more personality.
