Get your team together and make your own ceramic candlesticks with Anne

During this team workshop, Anne will guide you through the creation of two ceramic candlesticks, encouraging team spirit and socialising. Together you'll discover the basic techniques of modelling and decorating in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

The workshop begins with a dynamic introduction where Anne introduces you to the workspace and her background in the world of ceramics. Together you will learn about the different types of clay, modelling techniques and the steps involved in creating ceramic objects, with a short interactive quiz to test your technical knowledge in a fun way. It's a friendly team competition where everyone can take part and learn while having fun!

Then, as a team, you'll choose the shape of your candlesticks by combining different geometric shapes. Anne will show you how to shape the stoneware pieces, hollow them out to avoid air bubbles and assemble them with precision. Everyone will be able to add their own creative touch while working hand in hand with their colleagues.

Once you have shaped your candlestick, you will apply colour using engobes, again under Anne's expert guidance, to achieve the desired finish. All in a collaborative atmosphere where every idea is welcome!

At the end of the workshop, each team will go home with two unique candlesticks: a simple one to familiarise yourself with the technique, and a more elaborate one combining several elements. After Anne has dried and fired them, your creations will be ready for collection and you'll have a collective souvenir of this enriching and convivial experience!
