Make your own wood and metal shelf!
The workshop will start with a presentation of Olivier, his know-how and his creations.
The ironworker will also explain the basics of welding in complete safety and with the right equipment.
Then, it' s your turn! You will learn how to use the welding machine. Thanks to simple, progressive exercises adapted to each person's level, Olivier will guide you to acquire the right gesture. Between the preparation of the metals, the priming, the electrodes, the welding or the brazing, there will be plenty to do!
Finally, you will assemble the wood and metal parts of your shelf. After a few finishing touches, you will leave this workshop with new knowledge and a superb metal and wood shelf for your living room!

Meet Olivier
Ironworker
After 20 years as an optician, Olivier is now an accomplished ironworker!
During a training course, he really got hooked on metal work and ironwork. For two years, he continued to perfect his skills before setting up his own business to make a living from his passion!
Since 2016, Olivier has changed his "frame" and opened a cosy workshop in the heart of Schaerbeek.
Whether you want to create furniture or interior design, the possibilities are endless!
He kindly welcomes you to his shared workshop to pass on his passion and above all to allow you to reconnect with your creativity. A workshop in his company is also a way of rediscovering the traditional, yet rarely known, skill of ironwork.

Super expérience avec Olivier. Des explications très claires, nous avons appris beaucoup de choses aujourd’hui. L’ambiance était super détendue et Olivier est vraiment super sympa.

Très heureux de mon apprentissage avec Olivier. J'ai enfin pu être conseillé sur des techniques et astuces de soudage qui me manquait pour réaliser certains de mes projets. Olivier est à l'écoute et généreux dans ses conseils. Je recommande donc les yeux fermés ses formations.

Avec un peu de retard, je voulais remercier Olivier qui est un super artisan passionné et qui a réussi à me transmettre sa passion. Olivier, j'ai vraiment adoré ton atelier au point que me voila inscrite à une formation de soudure pendant 1an en cours du soir et ensuite je ferai menuiserie. Merci merci
