Kristina welcomes you in her boutique-workshop in the Galeries Royales Saint Hubert for a creative leather workshop. 4 exciting and friendly hours during which you will make a beautiful leather shoulder bag completely personalised and to your taste.
Kristina will go through the steps of the workshop and the creation of your bag. She will also discuss leather and its derivatives in the world today.
You will have the choice of several European leather colours to create your bag! (see photo) You will also choose the colour of the thread from a wide range available, as well as the colour of an original and modern stitch that will be used to close your bag.
Once you have chosen your elements, you will assemble your bag using the leather lacing technique that Kristina has revisited in her own way with braided waxed thread for hand sewing.
At the end of the workshop, you will leave with your new, large and light bag!
This workshop is offered in several languages simultaneously. The artisan will adapt the language of the workshop to the participants present.

The workshop is easily accessible by public transport and is located next to Parc Léopold.

Meet Kristina
Leatherworker
Originally from Lebanon, Kristina is an accomplished leatherworker based in the beautiful capital of Brussels!
After studying at a business school, she became fascinated by leather through her encounters with artisans in the streets of Beirut. A self-taught designer, she was inspired to start her own belt brand at the age of 23 when her grandmother gave her a set of vintage belts. This led to her joining the Johnny Farah leather goods company as a designer and production manager between Beirut and New York. In 2015, she decided to move to Belgium for love and launched her brand KINAMANIA.
KINAMANIA offers creative workshops to make iconic bags through which Kristina mixes her passion for leather with modern technologies: she reinterprets traditional leather lacing techniques that she combines with 3D printing to create leather pieces that are both elegant and bold.
Kristina welcomes you to her boutique-workshop in the Galeries Royales Saint Hubert, right in the city centre, for a discovery of leather and the emotion provoked by the creation of a beautiful object!

Bonjour Kristina, j'ai participé à un de tes ateliers avec grand bonheur. C'était une belle expérience: tu m'a guidée et a été très attentive tout au long de la réalisation de mon cabas dont je suis très fière ! Kristina est une belle personne , passionnée par son travail, et très bonne pédagogue! Elle met tout le monde à l’aise et on ne voit pas le temps passer! Si je devais avoir une -légère- déception, c’est sur le fait que je pensais -en voyant les réalisations montrées- que le nombre de coloris serait plus important…du coup, j’étais partie sur un coloris que j’adorais mais qui n’était pas disponible. Au final, je suis quand même très satisfaite de ma réalisation.

Atelier super sympa à réaliser dans une ambiance conviviale et chaleureuse! Après avoir choisi la couleur du cuir et des fils, le sac prend forme petit à petit pour un résultat magnifique et unique 🥰 je le recommande vivement !
