Meet Keren and her team in order to discover leather goods in a fun and friendly environment! During this workshop, you will learn how to make your own leather handbag.

First of all, they will show you their magnificent workshop and the machines they use on a daily basis to bring their magnificent creations to life.

They will explain the basics of leatherworking and introduce you to the essential tools. You will choose from three possible bag designs: a bucket bag, a shoulder bag or a fanny pack. You will then select the type and colour of leather you want to use for your creation, which you will then cut to create a pattern.

You will make several different punches and put rivets. The bag will then be shaped and all you have to do is assemble the shoulder strap!

At the end of this workshop, enjoyed in the company of a friendly and passionate team, in a timeless venue, you will have the chance (and the pride) to leave with your beautiful leather bag, which will never leave your side again!

Workshop location

Karen and her team's workshop is located just next to the Brunard bus stop (line 60), or a 5-minute walk from the Churchill metro stop (line 3).

This place is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

C'était pas mal, j'ai passé un bon moment. Ce serait bien d'avoir une "vraie" pause pendant le cours, surtout quand il fait beau pour profiter du jardin ;-) Au niveau des cuirs proposés ce serait bien de ne proposer que les cuirs dispo en lanière ET pour faire le sac. ça peut être frustrant de voir des couleurs qui après ne sont pas disponible pour faire le tout. Mais j'ai vraiment aimé l'atelier c'était une découverte pour moi

Heel leuke workshop: goed voorbereid, leuke opties qua tassen en tof atelier. Persoonlijk vind ik 10 deelnemers wel veel. Regelmatig moesten we wachten omdat we niet verder konden omdat we gewoon weg mer veel waren en de ruimte niet zo groot is. Ik heb een fout gemaakt, hoewel Keren nochtans DUIDELIJK gezegd dat deze de enige fout is die niet gemaakt mocht worden omdat ze ons dan niet meer zou kunnen helpen. Ze kon dus niets doen voor mij want door mijn fout kon mijn zak niet afgrwerkt worden en ze stelde voor om ofwel de workshop opnieuw te betalen (140€) ofwel een lapje leer van de overschot te nemen. Ik koos de laatste optie en heb dus toch nog een zak.Het is een lange workshop maar er werd op geen enkel moment een drankje aangeboden en dat vond ik eigenlijk wel spijtig.

Super chouette atelier ! J’ai passé un très bon moment à réaliser mon propre sac à main en cuir. Keren est très sympa, agréable et met tout de suite à l’aise. Il y a de très beaux modèles et plein de choix différents, ce qui permet vraiment de créer un sac à son goût. L’atelier est accessible à tous les niveaux, même sans expérience particulière. Il faut simplement un minimum de maturité, car on utilise notamment un cutter/couteau très aiguisé. Une belle expérience, conviviale et créative. Je recommande sans hésiter ! 😊
