Immerse yourself in the life of a beekeeper with your family for a few hours!
Hubert will be delighted to welcome you to his little haven and give you a tour of his hives.
Enjoy learning all there is to know about the life of bees, pollination, and beekeeping in general.
Hubert will teach you all the secrets about our friends the bees and the importance of taking care of them!
You'll also don gloves and overalls to visit and observe the beehives up close: an amazing experience for young and old alike!
Leave this workshop with a jar of honey and plenty of family memories!
Important information: During this outdoor workshop, you will be in contact with bees! It is therefore strongly recommended to bring a bottle of water per person and to dress accordingly: long-sleeved top, long trousers and closed shoes.

Hubert's workshop is located 15 minutes by car from Charleroi and can also be reached by Tram line number 3.

Meet Hubert & co
Beekeeper
Hubert grew up in the countryside and had a very happy, fulfilled childhood. He later moved to a city to pursue his studies and quickly realised how disconnected people are from nature. It was a shock and marked the beginning of his vocation!
He worked as a teacher for around a decade but then decided to go back to what made him happy: being in contact with nature. It was at this time that he changed direction and trained as a beekeeper. He then launched his current endeavour, which allows him to combine his two passions: education and beekeeping. Today, he owns two apiaries: one in Uccle and one in Jumet.
His current wish is to reconnect everyone with nature and raise awareness of bees' needs. But what he likes most of all is sharing his knowledge and ecological approach! An extremely attentive teacher with a great sense of humour, he'll show you all the ins and outs of his craft.
