With the calm ticking in the room, you will learn more about this meticulous craftsmanship.

Smelling the polish of wood and metal, Jan will tell you all the stories on clocks, and he will explain different techniques that exist. He welcomes you with great joy in his beautiful workshop to transmit his know-how during a unique moment.

During your visit you will get to know Jan and get explanations about the existence of different types of clocks, their history, origin and much more.

You will get to see the difference between various timepieces, techniques and constructions.

You will be able to ask all the questions on clocks and his profession.

Meet Jan

Clockmaker

With more than 30 years of experience, Jan is a talented and passionate clockmaker.

He received his training in a 4-year program with a specialization in clockmaking at the jeweller's trade school of Schoonhoven.

Moreover, he has worked for Swiss companies where he excelled!

Now based near Antwerp, he helps his customers in his own workshop but also does antique clock restorations, sales, and appraisals. Whether it's appearance, sound or technique, he knows what to do to repair any clock! Every clock is a challenge!

Nowadays, a clock is also a work of art that you display in your living room. He is always proud to share his passion with others.
