Join Esther for a practical and accessible workshop where you'll learn how to alter your clothes by hand, without the need for a sewing machine. Whether you want to adjust a hem, shrink a size or repair a damaged garment, this workshop will give you the essential skills to creatively maintain and transform your wardrobe.

The workshop will take place in a comfortable setting, in a concept store/café that combines a selection of designer and vintage pieces. From the outset, a round table discussion allows everyone to share their sewing level and expectations so that the advice can be tailored to your needs.

Each participant brings two or three garments to be altered. With Esther's help, you'll learn how to use different hand sewing techniques to alter or repair them. If some garments cannot be repaired, upcycling alternatives will be suggested to give them new life in another form.

At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with your transformed garments and new skills to continue altering and customising your wardrobe on your own. A fun and creative way to adopt more sustainable fashion!

J’ai offert cet atelier de couture à mon fils, qui souhaitait apprendre les bases pour réparer ses vêtements plutôt que de les jeter. Il en est ressorti ravi : non seulement il a pu repartir avec ses deux pantalons réparés, mais il a aussi acquis des compétences qui lui serviront au quotidien. Esther, l’animatrice, a su être à l’écoute des besoins de chacun et s’adapter avec bienveillance et patience. Son approche pédagogique a rendu l’apprentissage accessible et motivant, même pour des débutants comme mon fils. Un grand merci pour cet atelier qui allie utilité, écologie et plaisir d’apprendre ! Je le recommande vivement à tous ceux qui veulent donner une seconde vie à leurs vêtements.
