Discover the art of tufting with Olivia!

After a warm welcome, this passionate artisan will explain the basics of her craft and how the session will unfold.

Before you get started, you'll practice on a sample screen to master the tufting gun. A wide range of coloured wool will be available, so if you have a particular colour in mind, don't hesitate to let Olivia know before you arrive.

You will then have the opportunity to make a 38x48cm frame or a 40x60cm rug.

Following Olivia's instructions, you'll start by stretching your fabric over the frame.

You can then let your creativity run wild by drawing the design of your choice. Olivia will guide you every step of the way, tracing outlines or filling in shapes with regular lines.

Finally, you'll fix your work in place with glue before adding a finishing fabric.

All that's left to do is shave your creation to give it a smooth, even finish and add some relief.

Get ready to create a unique mural that reflects your imagination and style!

Workshop location

Olivia's studio is a 25-minute drive from Wavre city centre.

This place is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Nous sommes venues entre amies potières, afin de découvrir un nouvel art créatif, et cet atelier a comblé toutes nos attentes ! Olivia est adorable, joyeuse et très 'didacte' et bienveillante, Son atelier niché en pleine nature invite à la déconnexion. Petit upgrade éventuel à prévoir : un gun qui fait des boucles ;-) Le gros avantage de cet art créatif : on repart directement avec notre création ! C'est très gratifiant !

Mon compagnon et moi sommes venus participer à un atelier de tufting, et nous avons adoré l'expérience.
