Your own charcuterie board

The workshop in detail

  • 2h
  • 15 years min.
  • 4 to 6 participants
  • Up to 8 people for a privatization
  • Join Jim for a workshop where you'll create your own custom charcuterie board using reclaimed wood and resin.

The workshop begins with an introduction from Jim, who will share his passion for woodworking and the charm of working with reclaimed materials. You'll learn all about the process of reclaiming wood and the benefits of using resin.

Then the fun begins as you choose the resin color you like and decide on the shape of your charcuterie board. Guided by Jim, you'll design and personalize your board by mixing the resin with your chosen color to create a unique pattern that reflects your style. Once your design is complete, the resin is set aside to dry.

Jim will add the finishing touches by sanding off any sharp edges and adding a cork underlay. Once finished, your bespoke creation will be delivered straight to your door for a small postage charge (£2.50 payable on the day).

Whether you want to try your hand at a new craft or create a meaningful gift, this workshop is the perfect way to explore your creativity!

    Meet Jim

    Wood worker

After two decades as a web developer in the technology industry, Jim decided to swap screens for sawdust and dive into his true passion - woodworking and furniture making.

When he's not in his workshop, Jim can often be found trail running or cycling through the picturesque South Downs, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty around him. For Jim, working with wood is not just a craft; it's a mindful practice that offers moments of creativity and tranquillity in a busy world.

Jim's workshops are about sharing this experience. Whether you're a complete beginner or already adept with tools, he looks forward to guiding you through the rewarding process of woodworking and helping you create something unique with your own hands!
