  • WORKSHOP FOR GROUPS: Come to this workshop with your colleagues, friends or family and enjoy a unique moment of conviviality 😀Join Tom, Pieter-Jan and Benoit for a three-hour workshop where you'll learn the entire distillation process required to create your own bespoke gin.

The workshop begins with an introduction to the distillation process. Tom, Pieter-Jan and Benoit will guide you through the key steps of making gin, making sure you're familiar with the basics before you get started.

You'll then move on to choosing the spices that will flavour your gin. With a variety of options available, you can choose the ones that suit your palate. The distillers will be on hand to offer suggestions and share their favourites, such as Himalayan pepper, but the final choice is yours.

While your gin is being distilled, Tom, Pieter-Jan and Benoit will lead you through a tasting session. Here you'll explore the different flavours and aromas that gin can offer and gain a deeper appreciation of the craft.

At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with not only new knowledge, but also your very own bottle of bespoke gin, made to your personal specifications!

    Wecandoo - Meet Tom, Pieter-Jan & Benoit

    Meet Tom, Pieter-Jan & Benoit

    Distillers

The three founders of The Drunken Horse Gin, Tom, Pieter-Jan, and Benoit, began contemplating the distillation of their own gin during a garden party..

Passionate about catering and horses, Tom, ex worker at UNESCO, wanted to bring these concepts together. They decided to transform their old horse trailer into a mobile bar. Now, even their bottles are shaped as a horse foot.

When they decided to pursue this idea, all three of them left their previous jobs to focus on the Drunken Horse project. They experimented with different recipes until they achieved the perfect taste thanks to good friends. The first distillation was made together with the neighbours. Their special touch is influenced by their love for travel and includes an exceptional ingredient.

You will find this small, but successful distillery in Boechout (Vremde), close to Antwerp. They distil, bottle, and label the products in the attic of their family house, and soon in their beautiful renovated barn.

They have earned many awards for their Gin (San Francisco World Spirits Competition Gold medal !). Furthermore, they source everything they need from the local region, including the water used for distillation, the label manufacturer, and the pure alcohol supplier.

All three of them have incredible stories about their travel experiences and love creativity, craftsmanship, and gastronomy.
