    Discover the versatility of spatulas, the unsung heroes of every kitchen. Imagine carving your very own spatula, custom-designed to fit your style and needs. In this workshop, Tim will guide you through the fundamentals of green wood carving, using the esteemed Mora straight knife and a piece of fresh green wood. With your newly acquired skills, you'll create a beautiful spatula, ready to be put to use in your culinary adventures. Additionally, you'll learn the art of crafting a Swedish-style butter spreader, using basic knife grips and the exquisite green wood. Not only will it elevate your serving experience, but it's also perfect for spreading your favorite condiments with style.

    His journey began in 2015 when he crossed paths with the renowned woodworker, Barn the Spoon. Working alongside Barn, Tim honed his skills in traditional wood techniques, immersing himself in the intricacies of this timeless craft. What started as a fascination with understanding the process of creation evolved into a deep love for working with wood.

    Tim's path took an exciting turn when he discovered The Green Wood Guild. Here, he embarked on a transformative experience, learning the art of woodworking without any prior formal training. Guided by his mentor, Barn, Tim mastered the craft, allowing his creativity to flourish.

    In addition to his artistic pursuits, Tim dedicates his time to teaching. Twice a week, he shares his expertise with children facing social disorder issues at a specialised academy. Teaching holds a special place in Tim's heart as he believes in empowering individuals, regardless of their experience, to take pride in their creations. His genuine joy in connecting with new people and nurturing their talents is what truly fuels his passion for teaching.

    Tim was an absolutely incredible instructor, and my partner and I had a fantastic time learning how to carve. Everything was really well paced, and Tim did a great job explaining the process clearly and with a bit of humor. I'd love to come again and do another workshop with him.
